Create volume at the roots: place the brush under a strand of hair at the roots, hold for 5 seconds while making a twisting motion to create volume, then slowly glide to the ends.
Creating waves: Take a section of hair and place the brush at the roots. Turn the brush slightly as you pull it down, forming soft waves.
